A new basketball hall of fame exhibit, designed by HealyKohler and built by Explus  opened in October 2015 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. Displays feature  artifacts in casework, and interactive experiences. The stories told focus on the high school
and college basketball teams in the state as well as the
professional teams The Bucaneers, Jazz and the Pelicans.
