PROJECT INFORMATION:
Location: Various - Traveling Exhibit Size: 2,000 Square Feet Design Firm: The PRD Group LTD Contract/Project Type: Design Build The Working White House: Two Centuries of Traditions and Memories exhibition features artifacts and interactive elements in a free-standing, educational, and social history exhibition. This traveling exhibit, slated to visit twelve venues after opening in Des Moines, Iowa, at the State Historical Society of Iowa, the exhibition introduces visitors to the White House as a residence, seat of government, and workplace, focusing on all of the individuals who support, and have supported, those functions. Their stories and the occupational culture of the White House are revealed through oral histories, images, and objects. Explus was responsible for all necessary design, fabrication, artifact & audio-visual equipment casework, staging, and crating for the exhibition system/structure. |       |
